The drivers waited until the final stages of this race to do battle. 211 Matt Abbott stayed calm as several top drivers got involved with each other including Heat 1 winner Kennett, 747 Matt Farren and 70 Becca Dance. The final promises to be a cracker!

A quieter race than Heat 2 but no complaints from Dan Harris who piloted the 579 car to victory from the front of the blue grade. Ed Kennett and Lee Evans 144 rounded out the top 3.

An action packed start with cars spinning everywhere, Ginger Gammon took his MG to victory lane - this car is for sale for those who may wish to buy a race winning package!
Heat 2

Another good race from the Historic Stock Cars which saw Gary Madgwick take victory. Gary will be busy next week as he is racing his 2L Stock Car and National Banger at the London Open meeting here at Wimbledon!

Conditions proved tricky as the rain came down. Steven Stallwood took victory as he mastered the greasy conditions.
Superstox
Heat 1

A first time winner in the form of Alan Gray who took victory in a good race. Murray and Todd Jones returned to Wimbledon for the first time in a few years, with Murray instantly letting Brett Wesbroom know he was there! Todd did not enjoy much success as his steering broke early on. Gray kept cool to take a popular win from 176 Alex Meadows who seems to have found the quick line around Plough Lane recently.
Heat 2
17 Ryan Eaton, 376, 95, 7, 233, 123, 161, 540, 124, 4.
A great win for Ryan Eaton in the 17 car after a great race. The race was stopped for debutant 284 Bernie Reeve who was broadside on the home straight in an incident packed race. Ryan and Steven Jackson 376 had a duel of their own for the lead that the 17 car eventually won.

The final started with a bang as 17, 376 & 233 slammed into the fence. Glenn Salmon took victory from 4 & 454 to maintain his recent good form.
Classic Hot Rods

After the initial sort out, a great 4 way battle ensued involving 57, 88, 10 & 924. These drivers were then joined by Daz Owen in the #8 mk2 Escort. These 5 drivers battled all the way to the end with 57 taking the spoils!

88 Dave Owen, 924, 57, 153, 20, 22, 8, 172, 10, 161.
Heat 2 seen us lose a couple of cars but the pace was just as quick. 88 Dave Owen took a good victory in his mk1 Escort.
Final
924 Stuart Wright, 88 Dave Owen, 22 Robert Montagner, 57, 20, 161, 8, 153, 271.
The greasy track meant conditions for the Classic Hot Rods were not ideal given their slick tyres! 924 Stuart Wright made a brisk start and won the final from Dave Owen and the Chevette of 22 Robert Montagner. Thanks to all the drivers in this visiting formula for making the trip down!
