Heat 1 (1/2 cars) - 460 Lewis Barber, 382, 49, 53, 331, 294, 67, 22, 379, 204.
42 cars in heat 1 and plenty of action on a fast dry track, mainly the expected battles between Cream Team and Midnight Runners against the Gladiators! 460 Lewis Barber continues his good form with the win.
Heat 2 - (1/2 cars) 439 Danny Sutton, 397, 61, 349, 32, 682, 549, 456, 730, 160.
A slightly quieter second half car heat saw lone Condom Danny Sutton take a flag to flag victory removing the back marking Team Black car of 998 Cotty on the penultimate lap, 998 had waited for 439 on the back straight but failed to make contact!
Raid - (All in) 27 Dale Hughes, 331 Jason Jackson, 294 Lee Hughes, 180, 439, 247, 49, 498, 998, 67.
Superb train of Gladiators and Cream Team all going in on each other, reds out for 160 Perry Willings who's OK, from restart another 15 or so cars pile in under the scoreboard, a fire in 61 Daryll Theedom's car brings another stoppage! 331 Boxer Jack is taken out by 549 Phil Smith on the run down lap and leader 27 also goes out but too late!
Allcomers - 27 Dale Hughes, 552, 379, 294, 247, 730, 86, 382, 682, 70.
32 cars for the allcomers with the race declared when Midnight Runner 49 Bill King took out 349 Michael Allard but managed to roll himself in the process!
DD - 753 Billy Cunningham from 331 Jason Jackson
A very good DD, lots of Gladiators and Cream Team, the Gladiators were soon dealt with though and in the end it came down to a couple of Cream Team and Boxer Jack with 753 taking the win to end a really good show from the bangers.
Stock Rods
Heat 1 - 251 Lee Ribbans, 171, 560, 394, 56, 300, 288, 447, 168, 151.
315 Trevor Ashworth the early leader but 251 was keeping a much better line and nipped through, 560 got past 251 and pulled clear but was docked 2 places for contact.
Heat 2 - 56 Peter Graves, 425, 560, 315, 257, 151, 251, 447, 171, 300.
A very slippery track for heat 2 in the Stock Rods and its a Corsa 1 2 with white grader 56 just holding on from 425 who kept on him most of the race.
Final - 560 Ashley Reed, 5 Jamie-Lee Callis, 447, 171, 251, 80, 128, 168, 56, 288.
White grader 315 spun on the opening lap of the final causing a 4 car pile up, 425 suffering a lot of damage after 136 had nowhere to go and t-boned the stranded 425! From the restart 560 drove very well out front before 116 got the better of him in the closing stages to cross the line first. 116 was subsequently disqualified having failed the post-race weigh in.
