Welcome to Foxhall Stadium in Ipswich for tonight's updates from the latest Spedeworth race meeting - tonight we have Historic Stock Cars, the Lightning Rods in the latest round of their Polleysport/Yokohama Tyre series, and Micro Madness Bangers including a chained pairs race which promises to be chaotic!!

Historic Stock Cars

Heat 1 - 350 Stuart Olding, 33, 510, 245, 780, 368, 414, 14, 217, 314.

Stuart Olding takes the first race of the night after an earlier stoppage for a wheel off the 499 Nick Dellar car!

Heat 2 - 350 Stuart Olding, 510, 780, 33, 212, 234, 368, 146, 196, 193.

Final - 33 Gary Madgwick, 234 Richard Anderson, 510 Gordon Coull, 245, 14, 187, 192, 317, 196, 146.

234 and 245 had a coming together in the Final on the back straight with 245 turned into the fence. A closed grid for this one with the bumpers going in thick and fast with a couple of drivers riding the home straight wall. Yellows come out after a wheel comes off the 780 car. A restart sees 81 riding round the armco eventually getting a technical disqualification after he sheds a tyre! 234 leads the restart but is beaten to the line by 33!

Lightning Rods

Heat 1 - 557 Brent Tillow, 416, 781, 22, 386, 316, 636, 452, 265, 348.

A lively start for the Lightning Rods including a stoppage after a pile up involving 359, 616, 636 & 339. 404 also takes a spin after colliding with 346. 22, 316, 314 and 526 all docked for contact after viewing the video! Brent Tillow came through to take the win.

Heat 2 - 314 Wayne Farrer, 346, 616, 339, 22, 781, 636, 503, 416, 452.

A close 2nd race for the Lightning Rods with the drivers taking more notice of the white lines this time so not falling foul of the stewards! Wayne Farrer takes the chequered.

Final - 339 Ben Furness, 616 Billy Smith, 416 Diggy Smith, 526, 316, 264, 314, 348, NOF.

22 Mark Cooper loses gears after colliding with the back straight wall, coming to a halt on the home straight with waved yellows called but the chasing pack collide with the stationary car causing damage to 781 and 452. Restart....

Bangers - Micro Madness

Chained Pairs (Inline) - 122 Scott Piggin & 224 Dave Canham, 45/16, NOF.

5 pairs start the race with 757 & 805 coming apart early on. 800 & 540 tangle with 805 and 540 rolls bringing out a stoppage. 2 pairs restart and it's the Piggin / Canham pairing which takes the win.

Heat 2 - 380 Lee Hopkins, 51, 345, 746, 805, 309, 176, NOF.

The chains are off for this one and it's Lee Hopkins all the way from Aldershot who takes the win on his first outing at Foxhall! 452 Sean Parratt was entertaining the crowd by waving drivers in to hit him! 122 is also taking drivers out until he gets piled into stationary cars. A stoppage for a pile up on the back straight blocks the track involving 540 and 800 again and also 297 in a very lively race!

Final - 224 Dave Canham, 309 Michael Lane, 746, 45, 380, 805, 345, NOF.
