Welcome to Aldershot Raceway for today's updates, which will be with you after 1pm. Today we have the Unlimited Pre 75 National Bangers, 2.0 Stock Cars in another round of their Wealden Services series, the Rookie Rods and the youngsters in the Ninja Karts.

Ninja Karts

Heat 1 (2/3 karts) - 442 Tyler Ivins, 532, 136, 194, 980, 177, 28, 20, 614, 299.

The Ninjas get us under way at a hot sunny Aldershot! It's Tyler Ivins who takes the first race, Ollie Hosty in the 532 kart comes all the way from the back and just pips 136 for 2nd!

Heat 2 (2/3 karts) - 20 Archie Thurlow, 216, 421, 532, 980, 194, 23, 285, 7, 73.

A late stoppage for 28 Callum Lawrence who hit the wall on the home straight, the race called as the leader was on his penultimate lap, a good win for Archie Thurlow with 216 George Baker driving a stormer from the back to take 2nd.

Heat 3 (2/3 karts) - 216 George Baker, 442, 177, 409, 73, 136, 331, 614, 7, 368.

The third heat is won by George Baker from the back of the grid, a stoppage half way through for 421 Jim Cogger who goes into the fence by the pit gate.

Final - 421 Jim Cogger, 442 Tyler Ivins, 980 Charlie Lobb, 20, 216, 532, 136, 194, 7, 131.

The Final sees 980 get 3rd from the back with Jim Cogger taking his first win in the formula, so congratulations to Jim!

Rookie Rods

Heat 1 - 135 Dan Knight, 70, 121, 382, 306, 144, 747, 646, 383, 89.

A rollover towards the end for 273 Luke Derrick bringing out the yellows, from the restart Dan Knight gets away to take the win ahead of 70 Becca Dance's smartly repainted car.

Heat 2 - 121 Scott Tait, 70, 383, 144, 382, 89, 650, 135, 646, 306.

22 cars for heat two and it's a lively one with a few drivers falling foul of the steward and docked places, Scott Tait gets away and the yellow grader just holds off the chasing pack, 89 Gary Pope crosses the line in 2nd but is one of those docked.

Final - 135 Dan Knight, 89 Gary Pope, 70 Becca Dance, 383, 650, 382, 306, 646, 121, 144.

Gary Pope is the early pace setter as he takes it up from the blue grade and he holds on only up to the penultimate lap when earlier heat winner 135 Dan Knight eases through and holds on for the win! It's a trip to B + Q in the week for Dan as his two wins today takes him up to Red grade for his next meeting!

National Bangers

Heat 1 - 917 John Millen, 757, 456, 245, 78, 264, 202, 206, NOF.

20 cars on track for heat 1, early red flags for 260 Keith Reynolds' Triumph 2000 who hops out ok. Restart and 492 Dean Harper's Super Snipe Estate gets a big hit from 78 Lee Macey's mk.10 Jag leaving it in a mess, then there's another rollover this time for 440 Ian Phillips' Westy bringing out the reds once more, he's out ok as well and it's another restart! It's Ant Hill Mob man 917 John Millen who takes the win in his Jag with tribute to Les Hammond on the boot.

Heat 2 - 456 Nathan Roberts, 757, 245, 264, 288, 204, 190, NOF.

Down to 15 cars for the 2nd heat and an early red flag for 78 Mad Mace's prop shaft on the home straight! From the restart John Millen gets a big t-bone from 440 Ian Phillips and also has a set-to with 190 Pikey, it's 456 Nathan Roberts' Westy takes the win!

Final - 206 Dave King, 245 Jack France, 264 Mark Welland, 456, 288, 757, 190, NOF.

14 survivors for the Final which goes to 206 Kingy who has been entertaining all day, he takes advantage after Boxer Jack's car goes sick, Pikey was the star man in this one though with big hits on the 751 Merc, the 492 Humber and the 440 Westy! It's a proper old school top 3 with Jack France and Mark Welland in the other places!

DD - 190 Steve Bailey from 456 Nathan Roberts

Just the 6 cars left for the DD, and it comes down to Pikey and Nathan Roberts and it's Pikey in the Lincoln who finishes it with a couple of head ons!

2.0 Stock Cars

Heat 1 - 77 Steve Davies, 133, 7, 517, 454, 120, 305, 33, 409, 29.

Plenty of action in the first Stock Car race with , Colin Farley coming through well from the back but Steve Davies takes the lead half way through and he takes the win.

Heat 2 - 7 Colin Farley, 77, 305, 120, 33, 635, 133, 454, 61, 517.

Billy Wood crosses the line in 1st but is docked 2 places for jumping the start and Colin Farley assumes the win in another lively race for the 2.0 Stock Cars!

Final - 7 Colin Farley, 77, 532, 305, 61, 33, 454, 120, 29, 133.

It's a heat and Final double for Colin Farley as he takes the Final, 517 Dave Madgwick takes a long ride round the wall in another busy race though we were down to 19 cars for this one.
