2.0 Hot Rods
Heat One
88 Dale Atkins, 997, 565, 30, 72, 22, 11, 306, 543, 96.
39 missing due to head gasket issues, 88 & 565 share the front row for the start! 88 Atkins got the better start and, along with 997 Murray, the pair race off into the distance both drive a faultless race with Daktari holding off the Irishman.
Heat Two
75 Chris Crane, 304, 65, 70, 920, 543, 310, 54, 31, 745.
75 Crane and 304 form the front row with defending champ 70 Murray on grid 3. 70 loses ground as 118 Shelley cuts across to the inside line. A fast and furious races ensues with no quarter asked and none given, 70 and 118 tangle again with 118 spinning to the infield. 75 takes a flag to flag win.
National Championship Final
99 Dale Atkins, 997 Andrew Murray, 304 Danny Fiske, 565, 543, 65, 70, 75, 72, 310.
Our two heat winners form the front row of the grid with 75 on pole. 88 gets the drop at the green flag as 997 passes 75 who drops back quickly to 8th place. Meanwhile, 88 drivers a steady race to take a well earned win!
GP Midgets
Heat One
10 David Bonser, 33, 31, 5, 37, 69, 16, 23, 59, 15.
A very good grid of 16 GP Midgets for their first race, 10 had built up a half lap lead before a crash between 20 and 83 sees the 20 car backwards into the fence and the yellow flags out another yellow at half distance for spinner 77 and the chase was on between 10 and 33 from the red grade. Yet another yellow and the race is declared, robbing us of a possible grand stand finish!
Heat Two
10 David Bonser, 33, 37, 31, 6, 59, 23, 15, 16, 77.
12 cars take to the track after a rather bruising heat one! 10 Bonser wins again with a handsome half lap gap on the rest of the field - he looks good to take the hat-trick this evening and the East of England Championship!
East of England Championship
10 David Bonser, 31 Jonathan Pooley, 33 Gordon Pooley, 59, 5, 16, 23, 77, 37, 69.
Bonser lives up to expectations as he laps everyone up to 4th place on his way to victory!

Only 6 Bangers who do their best to entertain the crowd with plenty of spins!

18 Superstox take to the track and leading pair 24 and 204 both crash out when trying to negotiate back marking 161 , 286 and 69 have a coming together bringing out yellows. 176 gets spun as the race resumes which bring out more yellows as he is left stricken on the entrance of the pits turn 233 takes advantage of all that's going on and records the win!
Heat Two
69 Shaun Brooker, 376, 161, 276 612, 233, 186, 540, 4, 7.
The yellows are out early in heat two as 176 Meadows finds himself broadside across the track! The race restarts but is soon halted again as 114 Edmonds and 515 Aylward go into the fence hard with the 114 almost landing on the dog track! Following a delay for fence repair 612 Sparkes leads them away but he can't hold back 376 Jackson and 69 Brooker who fly past. Brooker manages to get past Jackson and then eases away to victory.

A hectic start to the final sees 186 Jones in the thick of the action, however, he did come off second best in his duel with the infamous fence! 233 Munford led for a long time but even he could not stop European Champion Brooker from taking yet another win!
