Welcome to a sunny Great Yarmouth for tonight's meeting with the Rookie Rods in another DB Mechanical Services Series round, the Lightning Rods in another Polleysport / Yokohama Tyres round, the National Bangers u1600 (no Mondeos) and the Street Stocks competing for their Supreme Championship.

Rookie Rods

Heat 1 - 315 John Woodhouse, 326, 279, 231, 39, 32, 550, 70, 127, 10.

19 Rookie Rods for their first race and it's the first win in a long time for John Woodhouse taking advantage of his yellow grading to take the flag.

Heat 2 - 212 John Smith, 127, 70, 326, 211, 231, 10, 550, 309, 315.

A greasy track catches a few out during the second heat, 39 held the lead spot for much of the race until being passed by 212, Mayes looked on for runner-up spot before going out in a clash with 211 and 326 with only a couple of laps left.

Final - 337 Lee Wakeling, 32 Reece Pyne, 326 Ed Kennett, 212, 211, 127, 70, 231, 10, 550.

With the star drivers and 211 having some good battles down the field, this allows loan white grade driver 337 Lee Wakeling to pull clear and take the win in the Final!

Lightning Rods

Heat 1 - 331 Michael Gabriel, 636, 339, 557, 452, 355, 346, 633, 421, 386.

13 cars for the first heat the early stages led by 331 but he was soon joined by the rapid 636 Lee Skoyles, but it's a text book drive from 331 to holdon despite Skoyles' persistent efforts around the outside!

Heat 2 - 331 Michael Gabriel, 636, 346, 348, 355, 421, 356, 452, 633, 339.

Another good race with 331 having to work a bit harder from the back of the yellows but the same outcome with 636 again matching him move for move but unable to find a way past!

Final - 348 Jof Hewett, 331 Michael Gabriel, 355 Mick Walker, 636, 346, 633, 452, 557, 356, 386.

A brilliant Final sees 331 upgraded into the blues and working his way through the field, 636 is once again following him all the way meanwhile 348 pulls clear but as the race enters the last 5 laps the 3 of them are all together along with 355 adding to the mix, but 348 Jof Hewett holds on for the win!

Street Stocks

Heat 1 - 133 Wayne Brown, 136, 135, 333, 700, 167, 47, NOF.

A lot of damage for 700 Gareth Cushion in this one after a couple of clashes with 269 Scott Ewles, Wayne Brown takes the win.

Heat 2 - 133 Wayne Brown, 147, 269, 135, 333, NOF.

133 goes well again taking another win from a reverse grid setting himself up nicely for pole position for the Supreme Championship later.

Supreme Championship - 133 Wayne Brown, 269 Scott Ewles, 136 Richard Brown, 333, 147, 135, 167, 700.

Wayne Brown as expected takes a comfortable win to round off a good hat-trick for him and the Supreme title is his too.

National Bangers

Heat 1 - 69 Jonny Wilkinson, 122, 711, NOF.

11 cars for the first race and some quality entertainment, 245 Brad Hudson getting stuck into just about everyone but unfortunately a misdemeanour means he is loaded.

Heat 2 - 247 Lee Clarke, 711, 122, 927, 369, 821, NOF.

A quieter second race for the National Bangers with 247 Bro taking a comfortable win even taking time to take out his running mate 821 Ryan Preston on the way!

Final - 247 Lee Clarke, 122 Scott Piggin, 369 Jane Allard, NOF.

A good end to the meeting with 69 Jonny Wilkinson and 821 Ryan Preston well involved with each other and Bro takes the win and the cash!
