The class which keeps on growing, and keeps entertaining! Taking to the Yarmouth stage on Sunday, a huge entry of over 100 1600cc Bangers will be hoping to claim the 1 World Final grid spot as the seaside venue plays host to the first round of the Gold Rush.
If you're heading to BWS at Ipswich on Saturday, this is the perfect way to make it an all-Banger weekend with spectacular action both days!
Get up-close-and-personal and see the whole track in front of you, meaning you can follow your favourite driver as they frantically race around the tarmac oval - doing their best to stay out of the way of the post-and-rope fencing which surrounds the track which has claimed many cars in its illustrious past!
Thrills and spills are part and parcel of oval motorsport, and the track has held countless races since it’s opening in the mid-20th Century, with thousands of people experiencing the world of oval motorsport.
Spectators have a number of different viewing options available to them at Yarmouth Stadium - facilities include a large car park, covered grandstand, bar and refreshment facilities; with grass banking around the bends and back straight of this tarmac track.
Tickets are only available at the Turnstiles, cash or card is accepted, and don’t forget that Yarmouth Stadium boasts excellent facilities to make your race night experience the best it can be. What time do gates open?
Stadium gates open at least 3 hours before start time for competitors and and 1 hour before start time for spectators. At some special events this may vary, check the individual event pages when available.
Can I take my own chairs in?
Yes, the venue has plenty of grass banking to watch from - plus an undercover seated grandstand area located on the home straight and is charged at £2.00 per seat offering superb views of the racing action.
Can I take my own food and drink in?
Yes. The venue also has it's own bar/catering outlets.
What time does it start and finish?
The advertised time is the first race. We can't give an exact finish time, but events last around 3 hours on average depending on track clearance.
Can I go in the pits?
Yes. The pits are open to all but children must be accompanied at all times.

Oval racing's stars of the future, the Junior Micra Stock Cars feature drivers aged 11 to 15 - with incredible action around the Spedeworth ovals... These racecars start life as a Nissan Micra, and whilst these youngsters might be relatively new to the track, they make up for it with real enthusiasm, action and close racing to make this a formula to watch. Limited contact is allowed, and cars are armoured with steel bumpers around the outside to allow for plenty of pushing and shoving on track!
