#217 Sid Madgwick took the 2020 National Banger Unlimited World Title at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday evening.
We would like to congratulate Sid on becoming Unlimited National Banger World Champion with #717 Jack Tuffen second, Leonard Dunn #215 third and #617 Jack Overy in Fourth in what was a superb and long overdue World Final consisting of some incredible cars, hits and high speed action!
Spedeworth / Incarace would also like to thank everyone for playing their part in making the 2020 event as ‘Covid – Safe’ as possible, given the nature of the event.
The weather on Saturday tried to dampen our spirits at times but the determination of everyone involved and the skill of the drivers showed just how fantastic short oval racing is.
We would like to thank our Sponsors, Steven Porter and his Guests from Porterhouse Building and Fire Solutions Ltd who supported the 2020 World Championship and hope they enjoyed their experience with us.
Thank you to all the Race Fans who came to support your favourite drivers and to Spedeworth TV who provided everyone with a fantastic live programme of the event plus superb build up Friday evening.
There are so many people involved in the planning and organising the Event behind the scenes and within the public eye and it would be impossible to name them all, but we would like to say thank you to each and every one of you.
Please don’t forget to watch Spedeworth TV and purchase your copy of the January/February Wheelspin Magazine which will feature all of the thrills and spills of the 2020 Unlimited National Bangers World Championship.
Once again, congratulations to Sid Madgwick on the win and all the Qualified and Supporting Drivers who contributed in making it another memorable night in the history of Spedeworth National Banger Racing!
The 1600 Bangers World Final takes place at Ipswich this coming Saturday too and Advance Tickets are now on sale!
