The 2021 National Saloon Stock Car World Championship is only a few days away and we would like to make all world qualifiers aware of the procedures for the world championship race:-
• Drivers briefing for all drivers will take place at 2.15pm followed by the World Qualifiers only briefing at 2.30pm.
• A grand parade will precede the World Final race. Drivers are permitted one mechanic to drive their car for the parade. Both driver and mechanic must be in overalls.
• There will be two rolling laps before the green flag to start the World Final.
• In the event of a red flag stoppage in the first three laps there will be a complete restart. 10 minutes repair time will be permitted.
• No mechanics can enter the track until the Steward of the Meeting gives permission once the last vehicle has stopped moving.
• Mechanics must be wearing overalls. Any drivers mechanics who are not wearing overalls and is working on either their car or another drivers car will result in the driver responsible for the mechanic being excluded.
• No re-fuelling will be permitted.
• At the end of the 10 minutes you must be able to drive away ready to race otherwise you will be excluded.
• The above procedure will only happen on the first red flag stoppage after the original green flag world final race start.
