Following the sad news of Brian passing away the family have now passed on the funeral details.

The funeral will take place at 11.30am on Monday 11th March at Bushbury Crematorium, Underhill Lane, Wolverhampton, WV10 7JG.

All are welcome to attend the funeral. The family have requested a private wake following the service. For everyone else who would like to pay their respects to Brian you are welcome back to Hednesford Hills Raceway where in the Bromford Bar a toast will be raised in our much loved scrutineers memory.

Further news after speaking with the family, we are pleased to announce that the annual Veterans Day at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 30th June will feature the Brian Portsmouth Trophy for the Unlimited National Bangers both Veterans and ‘Old Skool’ rules classes.

The family would like to thank the overwhelming support and comments they have received from everyone following the sad news and Brian’s legacy will be remembered this year with the Brian Portsmouth Trophies.
