The Golden Oldies Night for Pre 1980 National Bangers takes place at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich, on Saturday 20th July 2013 at 6.45pm, with a pre-meeting free Classic Car Show from 12pm - free to exhibit and free to visit. Exhibitors get free entry to the race meeting in the evening.

Just to confirm rules for the National Bangers - there are two categories, under and over 1800cc. The Overs are anything pre 1980 with an engine size over 1800cc, excluding Granadas, XJ Jags and Volvos (except for 144 or 164). Mk.10 Jags, 420G Jags and Daimler DS420s are permitted but only on original running gear. Engine changes are permitted provided there is no 'power-up' from the original engine.

For the unders, again it's anything pre 1980 and under 1800cc bar Cortinas and Capris. Engine changes are permitted but should be either age related or 1300 Crossflow. 1600 engines may be transplanted in some cases with much older vehicles but only by prior agreement with Spedeworth.
