Further to our recent notifications of clamping down on National Banger rules, there are some additional items which we would like to clarify to drivers which are to be enforced across the ORC:

1. Engines in the 2.0 class must be as fitted within the range, therefore the use of Granada engines in Mondeos is not permitted.

2. Tubular manifolds - the manifold must be off a car within the range, so it is not permitted to use a Ford Focus exhaust on a Mondeo.

3. After-market exhaust systems - these are not permitted eg Simpson or Janspeed.
