We have been asked by Trackstar to let people know the following regarding the 1300cc Stock Car World Championship at Kings Lynn on Saturday 17th August. The Spedeworth points chart will be updated shortly following last night's meeting at Yarmouth, and we will publish the list of drivers who have qualified asap:
"Drivers are requested to book in for the 1300 Stock Car World Final as soon as possible and no later than 10 August.
The grid will be available to a minimum of the top 15 drivers in the World Series from Trackstar together with 12 from Spedeworth, the top six from HRP / Spedeworth Scotland and the top two from Ireland.
In addition there will be a minimum of two drivers who qualify for the World Final from the last chance race.
The World Final grid will be made up by the top points scorer from the four promotions drawing grid positions for the front two rows. This will be repeated down the rest of the grid.
Please note though that drivers will be paired with a driver in a similar position in the points – EG If the second Spedeworth seed was fourth in the Spedeworth points he would not be paired with the other drivers in second place in their points but would be placed with the fourth placed drivers.
Drivers are also reminded to ensure that their cars comply with the rule book 100%.
There will be a chance for drivers to have their cars weighed and looked at King’s Lynn on Sunday 4 August at 10am. If anyone would like to take advantage of this they must let Trackstar know asap on 01553 771111 / 07939 580652.
Drivers looking to book in for the World Final or the Last Chance race must do so through their own promotion."
