Following the success of the recent Rookie Rod strip down following their Supreme Championship, we are looking at introducing strip downs in other formulas.
The plan is for this to be done randomly, not necessarily just at championship meetings, with cars impounded from time to time and brought to Spedeworth HQ for further checks on all specifications including engines, gearboxes, diffs, ballast etc.
The recent Rookie Rod strip down has silenced some suggestions of illegalities in the formula, and it is hoped that implementing regular random checks will do the same for all formulas.
