Following the sad passing of our marshal Dave Young, we have been given his funeral details which are as follows:

Dave's funeral will take place at 11.45am on Thursday 16th January at East Chapel, Southampton Crematorium, Bassett Green Road, Southampton SO16 3NF. We are advised that if you are using a sat nav to get there you should use the post code SO16 3QB.

The wake will be held at the Saints public house, Mansell Road West, Millbrook, Southampton SO16 9LP.

Southampton Crematorium is situated on the northern boundary of the city in Bassett Green Road (A27), about three-quarters of a mile southeast of the Chilworth roundabout (junction with A33).

If travelling by car:
Southbound M3 - leave M3 at junction 14 signposted A33 Southampton. At roundabout turn left onto A27 Bassett Green Road. The crematorium is approximately 1 mile along Bassett Green Road on the left-hand side.

East/Westbound M27 - leave M27 at junction 5 signposted Eastleigh/Southampton Airport. At roundabout take the A335 southbound (Stoneham Way) signposted Southampton/Swaythling. At the first set of traffic lights turn right onto A27 Bassett Green Road. The crematorium is approximately 1 mile along Bassett Green Road on the right-hand side.
