Congratulations to National Banger # 27 Dale Hughes on securing the first Wild Card place in the 2014 Unlimited National Banger World Final at Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich on Saturday 11th October. Dale drove a clever race to avoid the carnage all around the raceway to be the first to the line and guarantee his World Final slot.

The first round of the National Banger World Series at Wimbledon can be described in one word.....EPIC!

The racing produced by all three formulas provided none stop action but we don’t think anybody can argue that the Unlimited National Bangers stole the show by bringing back the memories of Wimbledon World Finals that were last witnessed at the venue before the World Final moved to Ipswich.

Thank you to all drivers, spectators and staff for making the first Banger World Series Round a huge success!

The second round takes place at Pr1mo International Raceway, Northampton on Sunday 6th April at 1.30pm. Last years round at Pr1mo International is still talked about almost a year on so who knows what will happen on the Brafield tarmac this time???

We’ll have to wait and see!!
