Everybody at Spedeworth/Incarace we would like to thank all drivers, spectators and staff for making the 2014 Heartbreaker a huge success!!

Mother nature has done her best to prevent race meetings all over the country from taking place and when Pr1mo International Raceway, Northampton was flooded the middle of last week the discussions began as to what we were going to do about the Heartbreaker meeting.

The decision was made to move it to Birmingham Wheels Raceway and we were unsure if this move would work or not. We are pleased to say that thanks to all your efforts to attend either as a driver racing, a fan standing on the terraces cheering on the drivers or the staff making it all happen without you all the Heartbreaker wouldn’t have been the superb show it was.

The move to Birmingham meant some people had further to travel but it was a bonus to others and whether you had to travel 5 miles or 250 miles we appreciate your efforts and once again would like to say thank you to everyone.

We also would like to say congratulations to our Heartbreaker Final Winners. #382 Jack Foster Jnr took the 2ltr National Banger Heartbreaker whilst #717 Jack Tuffen took his first title win by becoming the 2014 Unlimited National Heartbreaker Champion.

We cannot forget the Junior Bangers and congratulations to Final winner #364 Bradley Lee. The Junior Bangers many could say stole the show at Heartbreaker and we must thank the kids for their superb efforts but also thank the parents as without you bringing and supporting the youngsters we could not have been able to watch some of the best racing around Birmingham Wheels Raceway by a junior formula in a long time. The Junior Bangers have started on a high and let’s hope this can continue at the next Junior Banger meeting which is at Pr1mo International Raceway, Northampton on Sunday 6th April.

The 2ltr National Bangers return to Incarace’s Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday 15th March for a 2ltr World Wild Card meeting which when the 2ltr National Bangers last raced at Birmingham on New Year’s Day and stole the show in their own right and after Heartbreaker this meeting is one not to be missed.

The Unlimited National Bangers next appearance at Incarace takes place at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday 23rd March where the drivers are racing for the £1000 Spring Classic Championship and will officially open the 2014 season at Hednesford Hills Raceway with a bang!!

Don’t forget before all these meetings the National Banger action at Incarace continues with the Micro Madness meeting at Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday 1st March starting at 6.30pm.
