The 2ltr ORCi National Banger World Final takes place this Sunday at Hednesford Hills Raceway (1.30pm).
Spedeworth / Incarace would like to remind all drivers who have already qualified or secure a slot on the grid via the last chance races that there will be a grand parade as part of the race build-up and we would like you to have a mechanic drive your car but we would like to remind all drivers that the mechanic MUST be wearing overalls.
Once the green flag drops on the World Final race, if there is a red flag stoppage in the first 3 laps then it will be a complete restart and there will be 10 minutes repair time. Cars will not be allowed to leave the track however, two mechanics per driver will be allowed onto the raceway providing they are wearing overalls. Cars must be on the infield and must be able to return to the grid at the end of the 10 minutes ready to race otherwise the driver will forfeit the restart.
The drivers briefing will take place at the bottom of the Race Control tower at 12.40pm and we ask all drivers to ensure they arrive in plenty of time to attend this briefing as it is compulsory and you will have to obtain a wristband from this meeting before you will be allowed out onto the raceway.
Gates for drivers open at 9.30am and we ask all drivers to get there as early as possible please.
For this meeting Chris Hill will be the National Banger representative in Nico’s absence and he will be available throughout the day to all drivers who have any questions they would like answering.
At time of writing there are already over 90 National Bangers booked in for this event and we thank each of those drivers for their continued support!
Good luck to all and we look forward to seeing everyone at Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday!
