Spedeworth / Incarace would like to thank all drivers, staff and race fans for making this past weekend’s racing a huge success at all our raceways!
Over the Bank Holiday weekend we have run SEVEN race meetings across the country!!
The sun has shone on most of them but at Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday night and Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne on Monday the heavens opened and the rain did it’s best to ruin the events. We are pleased to say that despite the rain, thunder and lightning alongside anything else the weather could throw at our raceways the racing was fantastic!
The countries motorways were brought to a standstill but the drivers kept racing in conditions that would have made even the ducks fly away. Tracks were flooded but this did not stop the drivers putting on some top quality action packed racing. Luckily for the meetings at Aldershot Raceway, Pr1mo International Raceway, Northampton, Great Yarmouth Stadium, Hednesford Hills Raceway and Foxhall Heath Stadium, Ipswich the weather stayed fine and allowed the drivers to show off their skills at what they do best in all of the formulas that raced.
Thank you to all the drivers for putting on these superb shows of just how good short oval racing can be.
Thank you also to all of the race fans who came to visit our tracks from far and wide, many travelling along way to make the double header race events which didn’t disappoint and again braving the conditions at certain meetings to support your favourite formulas and drivers.
Finally we must say thank you to the staff who devote their time voluntarily to keep the cogs turning to ensure that the racing can be run as safely and efficiently as possible.
Without you all our sport could not be as great as it is and we look forward to seeing all drivers of all formulas, race fans who support the top drivers and the under dogs, and the staff who rain or shine keep the sport of stock car racing safe.
We now move onto this coming weekends racing over our family of tracks.
On Saturday night we roll into Pr1mo International Raceway, Northampton (6.30pm) for an action packed night featuring the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars, u2000cc National Bangers (No Mondeo/cougars) and National Ministox.
On Sunday afternoon the action kicks off at 1pm at Aldershot Raceway featuring the National Bangers in an ALL Japanese meeting, Superstox racing for the Brian Street Memorial Trophy & Bone Builders Ninja Karts.
Once again thank you to everyone on making the weekend a success and we look forward to seeing everyone around our raceways very soon!
