To all drivers who have secured a booking for the 2014 Spedeweekend we would like to say congratulations!

Please read the information below and be aware of the following important notes concerning your booking for the Spedeweekend:-

Booking In to Race

All drivers must go to the pit marquee for booking in. All drivers must bring with them their valid 2014 log book and any registered 2014 mechanics in person. If you do not bring your mechanics with you, you will not be given your wrist bands. If your mechanic does not look like the photo on their licence, please make sure they do before bringing them to us! The area will be open from 7.00am until 12.00 midday on Saturday and from 7.00am until 11.00am on Sunday. If for any reason you arrive after the booking in office has closed, you should present yourself (only) at the turnstile office, and the staff there will deal with your booking.

The booking in marquee will be split into formulas. Look at the signage at the front of the marquee to make sure you go to the right booking in desk for your formula.

Cancellations

If you fail to attend the event without previously cancelling your booking, you will be charged £100.00, payable before any further bookings will be accepted from you.

Pit Area

The pit area is always very tight at Spedeweekend, so we must remind drivers that ONLY RACE CARS AND TRANSPORTERS WILL BE PERMITTED ENTRY. The cars of your mechanics, friends and family members will not be permitted in the pit area, and they will have to use the public car park, without exception. Please don’t give the car parking staff grief, just organise yourselves so that everything you need stays with your race car and transporter. Please make sure you park in the area designated for your formula, the pit staff will direct you. If you park in the wrong place it makes our job much harder, and you run the risk of not being called for your race, and not given information which you may need etc.

Safety in the Pits

Can we remind drivers that pit bikes and quads are not permitted.
Do not light fires, only the use of proper barbecues permitted.
THERE IS A STRICT SPEED RESTRICTION OF 5 MILES PER HOUR IN THE PITS AT ALL TIMES.
