Section 22:- Cooling System

Sub-Section 2 & 3.

The cooling system must be contained within the engine compartment (I would say it means under the bonnet as well), of which this rules seems to be starting to be overlooked. In between the chassis rails.

What we are saying is that you can put a cover over the radiator and extend your bonnet with a separate cover to go over the radiator to stop hot water going everywhere if the radiator explodes.

Sub-Section 3.

To remind people of this rule the bottom of the radiator must be a minimum 152mm from the ground.

Drivers who have cars that are not within this rule have until the 1st January 2015 to alter their cars so they comply with the rules.

Can drivers please be reminded about their exhausts and the price limits. Drivers who have a 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust need to make sure the exhaust is within the price limit otherwise the car will be deemed illegal.

We are looking for a date to have a drivers meeting with approximately eight different graded Superstox drivers in November to allow drivers to suggest ideas for the future. We are looking for a mix of drivers from all grades and backgrounds. This means we would like to hear from Superstar grade to white grade drivers, from the wealthiest to the budget racers.
