On Sunday 9th November 2014 the Junior Banger English Championship took place at Wimbledon Stadium.

Following post-race scrutineering #997 Wayne Cotterill was removed from the result over a query regarding a spring on the car.

The spring was confiscated and has now been tested. The result of the test has shown that the spring that was on Wayne’s car was a patent part where the coils are slightly different at the ends. This is a standard re-placement spring which has been put on a spring poundage tester which has shown that there was a six pound difference which, if anybody knows anything about springs will know that this is nothing.

Wayne has still been removed from the result due to not completing the post-race scrutineering checks.
