Spedeworth / Incarace would like to thank everyone involved in making the 16th running of the Civil War a huge success.
We would like to thank all of the drivers for going to battle and providing superb racing and crashing throughout the day. Whether you were racing for the north or the south without you all Civil War would not have been as brilliant as the meeting turned out to be. Drivers travel from miles around to support their army at the biggest team event in the UK and all we can say is thank you to you all and roll on Civil War 17 on Sunday 17th January 2016!
Thank you to all the staff, medics and the army generals Scott Wagstaff & Paul Adams along with their support team on making the day a success by keeping the racing running as efficiently as possible. Every National Banger race is different and provides a mixture of ‘rodding and wrecking’ which in itself brings a variety of organisational challenges for the officials to deal with and we would like to thank every member of staff who helped run the Civil War yesterday.
No Civil War would be complete without the cheers and boos and for that we have to thank all the spectators who came to Hednesford Hills Raceway and created such a wonderful atmosphere. Every year the arena has an electric atmosphere with you all supporting your army through the good races and the bad. The cars racing around the ¼ mile oval create the noise of racing but it is you the race fans who create the atmosphere which gives every driver the encouragement to do their best by their army and provide the top quality action.
Once again on behalf of Spedeworth / Incarace, thank you to everyone involved in every capacity in making the day a success and see everyone at Civil War 17!
