My apologies to all. Please find herewith amendment to the ‘Drivers Draw’ which is an improvement to my earlier post.

'Drivers Draw'
We are looking at introducing a 'Drivers Draw' at future Spedeworth/Incarace Meetings, which we want to be of sole benefit to DRIVERS ONLY.

To make it work correctly, we need Every Driver within a Formula to agree to participate in the idea and we already have one Formula agreed so far.

The theory of the Draw is that once arrived at the meeting and confirmed at the Race Office, each Driver will pay £10 into the Prize Fund of his or her Formula and draw another Drivers Race Number from that Formula.

To make it work, every Driver within that Formula has to participate so the Prize Fund is maximised.

Come the meeting Finals, the Grand Final Winner of that Formula will receive 50% of that Formulas entire prize fund, (having contributed the same as everyone else,) – the Driver that he or she had drawn out the hat before the meeting will receive the other 50% of the prize fund.

It is conceivable that a Driver could have drawn themselves at the beginning of the meeting and therefore will go home with 100% of the Prize Fund if they win the Final!

I must stress, Spedeworth / Incarace will have no financial gain from these 'Draws', other than to safeguard the revenue until it is paid out at the end of each meeting, but the idea does guarantee that two Drivers, or one very lucky Driver, will go home at the end of each meeting with the Prize Fund.
