Attention Race Fans, the 2015 Whip St Motors Bangers Championship of the World is almost upon us at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich tomorrow!

We still have a Booking List of 52 qualifiers and 196 Support making an incredible 248 cars in attendance in the Pits with drivers in attendance from East Anglia to Cornwall, the South Coast to Cumbria and everywhere in between, with drivers even travelling from as far as Scotland and Ireland just to be part of this fantastic evening.

If you can find space, take a walk through the pit area before the meeting starts and you will take in the fantastic atmosphere and the level of preparation that the drivers have put into their cars.

For many drivers, all the time and effort that they have put in just to qualify for this year’s race, is the reward they have been after. A huge grid of Bangers will line up for the biggest and most rewarding Banger race anywhere just to get a shot at becoming the champion of the world, and be able to parade the coveted gold roof on their car for the coming twelve months!

In addition to the World Final itself we also have 3 races at the start of the meeting, a last chance saloon for any driver who hasn’t qualified as yet to get themselves into the big race! The first three across the line in each of these events, will take their place at the back of the World Final grid.
That makes for a fantastic World Championship of 61 cars!

Following the Championship of the World we have two Allcomers Races open to the first sixty cars available in each case followed by a Destruction Derby to see just who will be the last one running out of the original cast of 248!

It’s colourful, it’s destructive, it’s full of all the atmosphere a World Championship should have – dare you miss it? It’s going to be yet another headline event in Season 2015!
