Further to our news item last week regarding the racing direction of Ninja Kart races, we would like to update everyone on current thoughts from parents and early news following the racing just last weekend.
Overall the comments have been good with a majority of people agreeing with the trial. There have been a few concerns and also some Parents think it is totally wrong.
During these trails over the next few weeks, the rule regarding window nets will be 'OPTIONAL', To clarify this means that you can run one window net, two window nets or not one at all.
On Saturday at Birmingham, the Karts will be brought into a Parc Ferme area just outside the Pit Gate, vacated by Parents & mechanics and then a coin toss will take place to decide which way around the karts will race. If the coin lands HEADS, the race will be CLOCKWISE, if the coin lands TAILS, then it will be ANTI-CLOCKWISE. This will happen for each race.
