The 1300cc Stock Car Association has undertaken detailed technical scrutineering of cars at several meetings over the past few months.
Drives are reminded that their car must meet the 2016 rule book. Any car which fails to do this will not be allowed to race in the World Final race.
Cars from all promotions and tracks have had issues when being checked.
Although not an exhaustive list, the 1300 Stock Car Association would like drivers to pay particular attention to the following which they have instructed scrutineers to check at the World Final Meeting.
In addition to the technical points below, the 1300 Stock Car Association has asked Stewards to look out for incidents of team racing. IN THE STEWARDS OPINION WHICH WILL NOT BE UP FOR DEBATE - IF TEAM RACING HAS OCCURRED ANY DRIVER TO HAVE BENEFITTED FROM IT WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE RESULTS IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND ANY REPEAT INSTANCES COULD SEE DRIVERS BANNED.
Particular items which need paying attention to are below:-
Centre Roll Cage Bar
Rear Roll Cage Down Bars
Petrol Tank Position
Lower Door Chicken bars
Top Inner through irons
Floor Plates
Driveshafts
Servos and Brake Master Cylinders
Drivers Side Front Chassis
Bumpers
Camber on rear wheels
If you need clarification on any of these rules please contact your promotion. Rules are available from your promotion or can be downloaded from your promotions website.
We wish you all a successful world championship campaign.
