Following post-race scrutineering after the Rookie Rod Long Track Championship, the cars of both 7 David Burton & 9 Darren Wolf failed post race scrutineering. The issues found with the cars were also checked and confirmed by an indepedent specialist yesterday evening
Congratulations are therefore due to 506 Lee Woolgar who crossed the line in 3rd, but his car passed post-race scrutineering, making him the new Rookie Rod Long Track Champion. 747 Matt Farren, who finished 4th on track, also passed scrutineering and has therefore been confirmed in 2nd. There are no 3rd or 4th places awarded as the next cars home were not subjected to post race scrutineering.
