Sad News - Joy Studd - Added 22/3/21012


It is with great sadness that we learned this morning of the passing of Joy Studd at the great age of 90 years. Joy was well known on the Spedeworth circuits with her association beginning in the 1960’s and continuing into the 1980’s when she was lap scoring at the Foxhall Stadium Raceway.
Joy was wife to the late and great Bob Studd, the star Stock Car driver in the 1970’s and of course mother to ex-Foxhall Steward and former Superstox driver Chris Studd. Deane and Janet along with the Spedeworth Motorsports team would like to acknowledge the part Joy played in the sport and sends sincere condolences to Joy's family and friends.
