Spedeworth would like to thank Blockade Services Grabber and Tipper Hire for their generousity in providing extra prize money for the 2.0 Stock Cars this past Sunday at Aldershot Raceway - the action came thick and fast and certainly provided great action for the spectators.
Spedeworth are delighted to announce that, with the generous support of CAT Scaffolding, the same enhanced prize fund will be on offer for the 2.0 Stock Car meeting at Yarmouth on Sunday May 13th at 5:30pm. This extra money means that, once again, the heats will carry £100 prize money for first place with the winner of the final taking home £150.
There will be subtle differences to how this extra money will be awarded. Should a Red or Superstar graded driver be victorious then the extra prize money will go to the top White/Yellow/Blue graded driver. No driver can benefit from the enhanced prize fund more than once. For example; should a White graded driver win Heat One they will take home £100 for that race. If they were to win the next heat then they will take home the normal prize money with the extra money passing to the next White/Yellow/Blue graded driver.
The intention behind these changes is to spread the extra prize money among more drivers.
As with the Aldershot meeting; the enhanced prize money will only be on offer if a sufficient number of cars book in. In this case, 20 cars must be booked in for this event by 3pm on Tuesday May 8th for the extra prize money to become available.
There have been some great efforts by the 2.0 Stock Car drivers of late in seeking out these extra sponsors and we would like to thank them for their efforts and for the excellent racing that they have put on in recent times.
