Congratulations to National Banger star 264 Mark Welland who won the London Open title at a very wet and cold Wimbledon Stadium last night!
A field of over 70 cars braved the conditions with the opening heats going to 535 Ryan Cunningham, 2 Luke Dawson and 104 Shane Bird, but Welland did well in the London Open holding off a late challenge from 382 Jack Foster Jnr to take the win. Foster was a very close 2nd with 204 Charlie King in third.
A big thank you from all at Spedeworth to all the drivers, their teams of mechanics and helpers, all the staff and of course all the spectators who braved the weather all night!
